- Get the launcher. It keeps your game up to date and shows server news. You need Java 8 installed.
- Make your character. Type any new name and password on the login screen; your account is created the first time you log in.
- Pick your combat style. Revolution fires your basic abilities for you. Change it any time in Settings, Combat Settings.

What's in DawnScape 3

Combat
- Revolution, Full manual or Legacy
- Choose how abilities fire in Settings, Combat Settings, or type ;;revolution, ;;manual or ;;legacy.
- Abilities and the action bar
- Five bars, drag and drop from the Powers menu, thresholds and ultimates with adrenaline.
- XP selection
- Split combat XP between the skills you tick, the way RS3 does it.
- Dawn twists
- Radiant hits deal 1.5x damage, ultimates heal you, and an ultimate that kills refunds adrenaline.
The world boss
- Vorago, the Dawnbreaker
- Rises in the Duel Arena every two hours. Red bombs, seismic slams, gravity pulls, meteor showers and healing shards.
- Shared rewards
- Loot is split by damage dealt, and the top hitter is guaranteed a unique. Type ;;worldboss to join.

The Dawn Pass
- A new season every month
- 50 tiers on a Free and a Premium track, rotating through six themes: First Light, Starfall, Eclipse, Frostdawn, Emberbloom and Solstice Crown.
- Earn as you play
- Kills (more from Dawn and Eclipsed creatures), skilling, bosses and a daily login bonus. Click DAWN PASS in game.
- Scratchcards
- Scratch the gold foil and match three to win.
The Dawnforge and the Vault
- Forge your weapon to +10
- Up to +25% damage against monsters and Dawnstrikes, paid for with coins and Dawn shards. Risky from +6.
- The Dawn Vault
- A members-only coffer at home: a free open every day, with Legendary vault-only cosmetics.
- Mystery boxes
- Five glowing tiers, from Dusty to the Mystery box of the First Dawn, with Seren godbows, partyhats and full top-tier armour sets.
Ranks and the Dawn cape
- Bronze to Sponsor
- Buy ranks in Solomon's store (upgrades cost the difference) or earn them with total support. Daily spins, XP chests, bonus drops, longer instances, yell, ;;title and ;;bank.
- The Dawn cape
- Upgrades with your rank, glows brighter each tier, and has Dawn Surge: special attack, healing and a damage burst.
Raids and challenges
- The Eclipse
- A 15-minute world event every two and a half hours. A Fallen Dawnstar crashes into the world, bursts loot as it falls and pays everyone by damage share. Meanwhile: 4x Eclipsed monsters, double pass XP and shards, triple mystery boxes.
- Bestiary
- Examine any monster for its stats and full drop table, with icons and rates.
- Currency Pouch
- Every currency in one window, each kept separately.
- Dawn Raids: the Eclipse Spire
- Parties of up to five fight two Vanguard waves, the Twin Suns and Solaris, with Solar Flares, the Eclipse Pulse and an enrage. Safe deaths, and a chest with boxes, shards and raid-only uniques.
- Daily and weekly challenges
- Three a day and one a week, with streak rewards every 7, 14 and 28 days.
- Live boards
- Top players for the pass, forge, streaks, boxes, pets and raids, and a feed of the biggest pulls.
Pet companions
- Feed, pet and play
- Click your pet to look after it. Happy, well-fed pets level faster.
- Abilities
- Fetch your drops, bank items, forage, and a family special: Dragonfire, Healing light, Hunter's mark or Lucky find. Level 10 pets give +3% XP.

- +10% XP in every skill.

How DawnScape began
A server built by one player, on one PC, one evening at a time.
Odinsbane
DawnScape started life as Odinsbane, a 718-era private server: classic combat, the old interfaces, and a codebase Dawn ran from his own desktop. It went through a few names on the way (Elveron, then Veyron) while he tinkered with what kind of server it should be.
The move to RS3
In late September 2026 the whole server was carried across to the RS3 876 client. Under the hood that meant rebuilding logins, interfaces and the cache so a 718 server could speak to an RS3 game client. In return, every player gets the full RS3 world, its interfaces and Revolution combat.
The dawn
On 29 September it took the name DawnScape 3. Dawn is the owner, and the name stuck. The old accounts were wiped for a clean start, and the first features followed within days: Treasure Hunter, Solomon's General Store, RuneMetrics Pro free for everyone, and Vorago rising as a world boss every two hours.
What makes it ours
Then came the things you won't find on other servers. Revolution and ability bars that fire for you. Store Credit you can buy right here and have delivered while you play. And the Dawn creatures: Lumbridge's cows became a herd of glowing unicorns, goblins march in Bandos war gear, and now and then something comes back Eclipsed.
Where it's going
DawnScape is still young and still growing, with a new home, more Dawn creatures and more of the world to reshape. If you're reading this early, you're part of how it began. Come and say hello.

- The first launch downloads about 16 MB. After that only changes are downloaded.
- Your account is created the first time you log in with a new name.
